Elmar Petrov earned his Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 1974 and became a Professor in 1981, with a long academic career at Kyiv University’s Department of Mathematics and Theoretical Radiophysics. A Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine since 2003, his expertise centers on electron transport in low-dimensional molecular structures, work recognized with the State Prize in Science and Technology, the Humboldt Research Award, and the O.S. Davydov Prize.
