The mobile generator “Dopomoga” is the world’s first autonomous device for electrofusion of living tissues, created by the Ukrainian team “Nanotechcenter”. It allows for bloodless tissue separation and vessel welding without an external power source, which makes it ideal for use in military conditions, during evacuation and medical disasters.
The device provides a hermetic connection of vessels with a diameter of up to 8 mm, withstanding a pressure of more than 1600 mm/Hg, and one battery charge is enough for more than 100 weldings. It is based on many years of experience in developing EKVZ-300 devices, which are already operating in more than 100 medical institutions in Ukraine.
The development has received positive feedback from military surgeons and leading doctors. Currently, the team is working on certification and implementation of the device in wide practice – this tool really saves lives.
